2 BRADLEY TECH STATE CHAMPS BRING CKWC TO 4 STATE TITLES IN 5 YEARS! This year all ten MPS state qualifiers (25 in the past three years) were regular and active participants in City Kids Wrestling Club practices and summer camps. MPS wrestlers won two 2012 state titles. Over the past five years four city wrestlers have won state titles. All were trained by CKWC coaches and all worked as summer camp coach trainees at CKWC summer wrestling camps. Our state champs and state qualifiers provide excellent role models to our Milwaukee youth. CKWC wrestler graduate on time, out of trouble and with a real future ahead of them. |

CITY KIDS BRING HOME MEDALS IN OLYMPIC STYLES After being introduced to Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling through CKWC spring training, many City Kids wrestlers have been earning self-confidence, pride and success at area tournaments. At the April 28th Southern Lakes Wrestling Club tournament in Elkhorn, five CKWC wrestlers won gold medals for first place, and eight took second. Great work, guys! The team will continue to train and compete throughout the spring and summer. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8pm at Riverside University High School (1620 E. Locust Ave.).
